Independent Contemporary Art ££150 to £1,400 6 Mar 2026

“There was a fair amount of browsing, but approachable pricing helped keep interest moving. I sold 2 pieces, and it comfortably covered costs. Organisation was decent overall, though there were a few small practical hiccups. I would only revisit it if the economics or stand strategy were improved.”

“There was steady footfall but quite a lot of casual browsing. I sold 3 pieces. the fair covered its costs comfortably. Organisation was fine overall although there were a few rough edges around logistics. I would consider doing it again, especially with a tighter edit of work and clearer follow up.”

“Great atmosphere and a strong fit for independent artists who are comfortable selling directly. Visitors expect originality and like meeting the maker, so storytelling really helps. Smaller works and prints kept the sales moving, while the larger pieces brought in leads.”

“Great for visibility but sales were slower than expected. Lots of browsers and short chats. Organisation was fine but I would only return with a clearer offer and stronger pre marketing.”
