Contemporary Painting and Works on Paper £900 to £6,000 6 Mar 2026

“There was a fair amount of browsing, but approachable pricing helped keep interest moving. I sold 4 pieces, but financially it was a tougher result than I hoped. Organisation was decent overall, though there were a few small practical hiccups. I would only revisit it if the economics or stand strategy were improved.”

Mixed Media Painting £800 to £3,200 6 Mar 2026

“There was steady footfall but quite a lot of casual browsing. I sold 4 pieces. it came out modestly ahead. Organisation was fine overall although there were a few rough edges around logistics. I would consider doing it again, especially with a tighter edit of work and clearer follow up.”

“Strong collector attendance and serious conversations. Higher pressure environment and higher costs, but potential for meaningful sales. Make sure presentation and pricing are tight and you have a professional catalogue or lookbook.”
